The district was informed after school yesterday, Thursday, November 12th that a staff member has tested positive for the Coronavirus. The Hardin County Health Department was contacted immediately. Contact tracing was completed in conjunction with the Hardin County Health Department. All students and staff that have been identified as a close contact have been notified and placed into quarantine.
Please keep in mind that our Hardin County Reopening Plan, approved by the Hardin County Health Department, is designed to minimize the risk of exposure to the Coronavirus, it is not designed to prevent exposure. These procedures assisted in making further exposures limited in this case.
If your child or anyone in your home should develop symptoms, please call your primary care provider or the Hardin County Health Department. Do not send your child to school or to activities when ill and please continue to wear masks in public and practice social distancing.
