It is the belief of the Upper Scioto Valley
Schools that all students, in order to receive the best possible education, should
be in school five days per week.
However, we do understand that there may be circumstances that make this
not possible for all students. For this
reason, Upper Scioto Valley will allow home-based instruction for students that
wish to proceed with this option.

The home-based instruction will be completed online with a school provided Chromebook if one is needed.

Enrollment in home-based instruction will be for one nine weeks at a time. Students will remain in home-based instruction unless the principal is notified of a change.

Students that are not keeping up on work may
be removed from home-based instruction and returned to school five days a week.

This is a temporary option. Once the pandemic is over all students will
be expected to return to school and follow the school calendar.
